Introduction

What up -

First of all, thanks TJ for inviting me in. I've been reading a whole bunch of stuff on here so I figured I should introduce myself rather than be an anonymous reader.

Brief bio:

I'm from the NYCSarge forum which is how I know of TJ. Have known about the community for about 2 years(from 'the game') though just recently I've been reading up/watching/ listening & thus trying to implement in the field.
I have enjoyed pretty much everything TJ has posted so I am very appreciative that he let me in on the blog....especially after we started off on the wrong foot on the NYCSarge forum, lol. I have also had the pleasure of meeting him at the newbie sarge, which I think he mentioned on here, though I am really pissed that i didn't get to open any sets/wing him or really see him in action though I hear he did his thing that night.

Unfortunately, I have(and still kind of do) had the worst case of one-itis/AFC-ness. I mean, I got dumped hard and straight up, it hurts. I am currently trying to get out of that mentality and trying to improve my inner game but it's gonna be a long, hard road. To be honest though, I know in the long run it's gonna be the best thing that ever happened to me. I have been doing things and seeing things in myself that I never would've had I not gotten dumped/found the community. I have taken some steps in the right direction and have seen some improvements just since I got into this so I know there's a light at the end of the tunnel...cold approaches, improved confidence, a few # closes(very high flake out rate though), better BL/eye contact/vocal tonality. Obviously there is an abundance of things I still need to work on but here's to getting out there and trying.
Hopefully, I will be able to post some good FR's for this group. Seems like a great bunch of guys

Welcome to the community man! I'm new here too but this place is great for learning and motivation and I'm sure if you stick with it you'll thrive!

A couple tips on inner game, this is something I never really had a huge problem with since I'm a bit of a pompous ass but these definitely helped me along.

Theres a video of Style on youtube somewhere saying that to have a successful day you must do four things in that day: something social, something physical, something intellectual and some work. He is absolutely right, for example when I went to sleep last night I felt fantastic because I did some schoolwork, worked out, read a book on the biology of love and finished a bunch of schoolwork I had to do. This helps me feel great about myself when I wake up too!

Good books to read on inner game:

Napoleon Hill - Think and Grow Rich.

This book is really about getting rich money wise, but the concepts he describes of using your mind to ensure success are absolutely amazing, definitely read it.

Eckhart Tolle - The Power of Now.

This is another really amazing book and is recommended all over the community.

My last tip would be to set a few goals for yourself. Write down a list of things you want to improve upon by the end of the week and stick them in your pocket. If you notice yourself progressing towards your goals, you will feel ecstatic.

I got tons of stuff on this, let me know if you want more.

Welcome Blizz. I use this site to give and take value. As we all do. Also, writing things down will further enhance your understanding of what you already think you know. Looking forward to your stuff!!

Blizz -

It was awesome meeting you at the NYC Sarge thing and we're lucky to have you contributing to our "community" here.

First, I misunderstood what you were posting on the NYC Sarge forum lol. Def my bad

Secondly, about one-itis, it happens to the best of us. Every PUA I've ever met has at one point said to me, "Well, I got into this because..." and it's always some story they're ashamed of (including me). However, I always reply, "EXACTLY! No one gets into the community because they were getting all the success they wanted."

Trust me, I got dumped by my "dream girl" when I entered the community. Literally I was at rock bottom (I don't know if you read my "PUA bio" but I detailed it in length there.

Anyway, just wrapped up a D2 with HB10 Blonde in Black and am typing this at my parent's house as I'm leaving for Bermuda tomorrow.

In my absence I expect Decibel or Hengman to keep things under control here and expect FRs and pictures when I return!

PAX!
